What happens if you have health insurance through your job, then have to get new health insurance?

If you have health insurance with your employer then quit, how can you get new health insurance with your new employer because aren’t they going to see all your pre-existing history from your old insurance company?

   the first poster is correct . i saw this addressed recently in a forum. the companys will usually cover it. however that is one of the reasons we need health reform . with it you dont have to worry that you wont be covered. cobra should be lower now also

   Not a clue sorry, live in the U.K. & don’t need it, we have insurance policies & death policies, but don’t need health insurance.
