What exactly is life insurance and how does life insurance work?
I don’t understand, won’t you be dead or something so what does it do for you?
What happens if it doesn’t get cashed in, what does that mean?
Sorry I don’t understand, please explain.

Life insurance is insurance on your life. If you die the insurance company pays money to your beneficiaries. they could be family, friends, the company you work for even a charitable organization. as long as there is an insurable interest.
If you are dead the money from the insurance can pay for your funeral, your debts, mortgage, medical bills, car payments, children’s college education, your families survival if you are no longer here to provide for them, as well as pay for inheritance taxes, probate taxes (life insurance is tax free)
if you are single, no family, no responsibilities and don’t mind being buried by the state then you probably don’t need life insurance. Try this site to find the best life insurance
Here you can get quotes from different life insurance companies in your area, its the best way to find an affordable life insurance with a reliable company.
Hope this help,

Exactly. Life insurance does absolutely nothing for YOU.
It might be worth having if you have young children and wish to provide for them in case something happens to you. Other than that, its just profit for the insurance company.
I’ve never had it, because with my kids, I felt safer being worth more alive than dead.

the concept of life insurance is to provide for the people who you were providing for (your family, etc.) in case you die. obviously when you die you aren’t working and earning money anymore and cant pay the rent, buy food, whatever. insurance companies do studies and calculate “mortality tables” which assume how many people in a given age, gender, health , etc. will die in a given year. so you pay a premium based on your age, gender, health… to ensure you will provide for the lost income that you would have earned. the person that money goes to is called the ‘beneficiary’.

I think that life insurance is very important. You may be single right now, but what if that changes? The premiums go up when you get older, I would recommend getting it now. I got mine from this site, It’s really cheap and easy. I don’t think I really need it but you never know. So I just got it to be safe.
