What the health insurance influences on?

I would like to know if a pregnant women can be treated in different ways depending on her health insurance. I can imagine that different health insurances can cover pregnancy in different way. For example with some health insurance the woman cannot get some services which she could get with another health insurance. Is that true? I also can imagine that different health insurances can have a different network of medical providers which could have different level of services and qualification of staff. Is that true?

Companies that provide health insurance deduct what they pay as an expense and their employees don’t pay taxes on a huge benefit. That makes health care for those with employer paid health insurance almost free for them. Why shouldn’t your employer pay for your auto insurance, too? Why is this fair to those that have to pay their own medical bills? What type of socialism is this?

We used to have individual health insurance, and I would pay for it out of my own company (an S Corp). When we got insurance through my husband’s employer, I stopped reimbursing myself.
He is paid for by the company, and then it costs extra to add myself and our child.

I was just going to deduct health insurance premiums on our Sch A, but we don’t have enough other medical expenses to meet the limit.

Is it ligit to go ahead and reimburse myself the amount that it cost for the health insurance? Then it would be a business expense. Thanks.

I am definitely not happy with Alliance’s health insurance. I pay way too much for what’s unnecessary in their policy. Even using their health insurances, I am getting a lot of things to pay for [very basic check-ups and etc] They barely covered anything. I’m looking for a really good insurance. I am young and healthy and need a health insurance plan for myself. Essentially, I just need health insurance in case of a freak accident that will land me in a hospital. Any suggestions? The cheapest so far has been $61 a month. I don’t care about deductibles or any of that. Just that it has the lowest monthly fee. Thanks!
