I have an intex seahawk 400 inflatable dinghy. this is a non powered boat and i want to know if i have to insure it for 3rd party cover if i use it on uk rivers?

   Contemplate personal accident insurance – especially if a cruiser coming around a bend too fast doesn’t see you !

   Dinghy travels less than 10 knots, does not require registraton…and extremely unlikely you will damage another vessel…ie 3rd party is overkill.

   Spend the $$ on a fluorescent orange top and a a good torch if you are planning to travel after dark – much better and safer if everyone can see you…
